The Living Word Church, Dayton

March 28, I returned from a wonderful time in the mountains meeting with God and bonding with friends (our church’s women’s spring retreat) to fly to Dayton, Ohio the following day.

March 29-April 4      The Living Word Church, Dayton, Ohio

From the moment we arrived and said hello to Pat and Jackie Murray, the pastors at Living Word, until we told them goodbye on Sunday evening, we experienced the Holy Spirit’s guidance moment by moment and the love and fellowship of these dear people.  One thing we love doing is spending individual time with each staff person.  What a blessing for us to hear how God has lead each of these men and women of God in their lives.  (We have such an awesome God and we see again how awesome when we hear his kids’ stories.)

As we love to do, we went there to help them bring their “very healthy church” to an even healthier place as God continues to mightily use Living Word Church in Dayton and beyond.  Now that they have the results of the survey, we will be returning to Dayton in May to continue working with their staff and leaders.  Next month I intend to tell you more about Living Word Church with pictures.

We returned home to meet with WIM (Women in Ministry) and for Scott to meet with his Pastor’s Group.  This was the second month for the Pastors’ Wives to meet.  More about those groups later.

This Saturday, April 24, we fly to West Palm Beach, Florida, to visit our middle son, Aaron and his wife, Tatum.  We are so excited to have a few days with them.  This will be our first trip to Florida to see them.

I have much more to write but will save it until next time.

Much love,
Delores, for the two of us

“May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.”  I Thessalonians 5:23-24
