As a child, 12 o’clock midnight on New Year’s Eve was a magical moment. As I look into the hours and months of 2010, the anticipation is still a thrill. I’m reminded of three lines from an old song, “I pick myself up, dust myself off,
and start all over again”.The thought of a new year ahead inspires me to do just that. 🙂
We are grateful to be alive and residing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with our granddaughters, Sage and Amber, and their mom, Amy. Our son, Ryan, is in Little Rock working for Falcon Jet and has a new wife, Tiffany. Son, Aaron, and his wife, Tatum, are in West Palm Beach, Florida. Aaron
continues to enjoy waiting tables at the The Breakers Resort on Palm Beach. Our youngest, Lucas, lives in Dana Point, California, and works at Vision Motor Sports, a Porsche racing business. He is still in hopes of joining the Coast Guard in the near future.
Scott and I began our first ministry assignment in Baton Rouge in 1972. Each new year has brought surprises, joys, challenges and fruit. We are expectant about ministry in 2010 and all God has for us as we work with Jesus to build beautiful churches.
