CRM has Grown!

CRMYes, Church Resource Ministries has grown since it began in the summer of 1980. Scott and I were one of the first three staff couples when the ministry launched. This picture was taken at our world wide staff conference in Cancun, Mexico, in July. I wrote about our time there in our August newsletter. I am including this group picture we received recently to show you how the Lord has grown our organization.

All in God’s Timing

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1

As I told our prayer team last month, the CRM board of directors is expressing concern that many of the staff are not adequately funding their budgets. Therefore, they are requiring underfunded staff to work on funding in an intentional way. Consequently, we shortened our time in California in order to engage funding work. Scott and I plan to give this task the majority of our attention until the end of the year. We hope to visit with many of you in this process.

How Do You Define Yourself??

“All of us have tried to explain our ministry and seen eyes glaze over at times because the words, phrases, and examples we used didn’t connect with people.” I took this quote from a letter our U.S. Director sent to our division about clarifying the nature of our ministry. I had to smile as I recognized we can certainly use help to better explain just what it is we do.

Pray for Us

Delores and Scott“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1 We believe with all our hearts that this is the truth. We are fortifying ourselves with prayer presently and all along the way. In turn, we are requesting you to join us in asking the Lord to direct our steps and to use this time to bring us up to budget. Being adequately funded will increase the freedom we have to pursue our calling.

Rejoicing in this Privilege
This is Delores, for the two of us

Prayers & Praises

  • Praise the Lord for the privilege we have to serve him.
  • Praise the Lord that we are in good health in this stage of our lives. We don’t take this for granted.
  • Ask the Lord to make us fruitful in our funding tasks.
